The Whyalla Amazing Race was a huge success with 13 groups vying for the eternal glory of being the inaugural winner of this prestigious event.

In the end it was the enthusiastic firepower of the Hi-5 team that took the spoils of the day, after a frantic dig in the sand on the Whyalla foreshore. Next were The Unprepared's who arrived to the beach in 7th place, but managed to leapfrog a group of teams to find the treasure in 2nd place! And in 3rd were the Uni SA team who were close behind...
