This week's Friday night drinks have a special twist, the YPW team are bringing you a quiz night at the Hockey Club from 7.30pm!

So come along and exercise your quiz talents, catch up with some friends, and unwind after a long week at work!

Kimba Cup 2011

Hi All

It's almost time again for this year's Kimba Cup!

For those of you who don't know, the Kimba cup is a racing meet held in Port Lincoln, so dress up for an always enjoyable day at the races. The Kimba Cup is always a good chance to catch up with the Young Tradies and Professionals group from Whyalla! There will be a bus organised with limited seats, so get in quick!

Date: Sunday 20th March
Time: 8.30am pickup from Shell service station, 8.45am pickup from McDonalds
Price: tickets $110 (including bus return to Pt Lincoln, entry to Marquee, food and drinks)

Surf Club Drinks

Hi All!

The YPW group is planning on running Friday night drinks at the Surf club on the first Friday of every month for 2011!

Nights will kick off from 6.30pm until Midnight, entry is free and there is a licensed bar. The night is always a good opportunity to catch up with the other Whyalla folk and find out about upcoming YPW events!

Our first night of the year at the surf club was a huge success, with only standing room left inside on a night that was fairly inclimate for drinks at the beach! Hoping to see similar numbers each month!

Whyalla's Amazing Race!

Hey All!

That's right, the Amazing Race is coming to Whyalla! It's time to race around Whyalla, stopping at some of the town's landmarks and meeting some new people along the way. Of course there will also be a cold beverage at the end to refresh after all this exercise!

Details
Entry fee is $30 per team. Max 5 people per team.
Register your team at Events Whyalla (1/73 Essington Lewis Ave) before 5pm, Friday Febrary 18th.

FREE Barbecue for all race participants following the race and prizes will be awared for 1st , 2nd and 3rd place as well as best dressed team!!

Rules:
1. All teams must have a team costume
2. Max 5 people per team
3. All transport is on foot (no vehicles)
4. Anyone who hasn't completed the race by 7pm sould return to the surf club
5. Post race BBQ at the Whyalla surf club is $10 for those not in the race
